Mothers are and can be so many things. There is no one way to be a mom. At the core, though, the definition we crave most is one that includes unconditional love. Steadfastness. Strength.
I clearly see my multiple roles in Mark’s life. One of them is mother. And as my many children –biological and step and beyond –know, my love is fierce and it is forever.
